Mission Statement:

STARS Gymnastics Boosters (SGB) exists to foster and promote gymnastics competition; to support the members and coaches of STARS Gymnastics competitive team, to assist with the organization, administration and promotion of competitive gymnastics.

It is also our goal to promote team spirit and camaraderie through organized team activities, and to provide opportunities for fundraisers and special events to benefit the Team Program of STARS Gymnastics.

The SGB plays an important role throughout the year, working directly wiht the coaching staff to plan events and maintain open lines of communication to parents. We have heard repeatedly in the past that lack of communication is a common frustration in the gymnastics world. This is something that SGB and the coaches want to change. It is our goal for SGB to act as a liasion between parents and the coaching staff. The SGB officers welcome any team related questions, ideas, and concerns.

Being a gymnast requires hard work, dedication, discipline, and respect for your team mates and coaches. We, as parents, should strive to promote the mental, physical, and moral development of our team members. We are here to celebrate with one another during our successes, as well as to support one another during difficult times. We should also work together to overcome negativity, rather than add to it.
